Ram Gopal Varma was responding to the comments of RaNa about the music given by Illayaraja for the film Chinaraudu.

RGV says 'A R Rehman, Keeravani, Manisharma and Devi Sri Prasad had together buried the music in South India.'

RGV further says above director killed the music in South Indian films. He believes that these music directors had buried the music and brought importance to sound unlike Ilayaraja.

Facts- RGV wanted to introduce MM Keeravani as music director  with his debut film Shiva, but that couldn't happen, gave break with Kshana Kshanam.

RGV wanted to to launch Manisharma as music director with CVhiru's film, but that film dropped for unknown reasons.

RGV is the one who gave a good chance for AR Raheman in Rangeela.
