Washington, Jan 30 (ANI): Aerosmith's lead vocalist Steven Tyler is said to have completed 30 days of "intensive sobriety treatment" in a California rehabilitation clinic.

According to a statement from the singer's management company, Tenth Street Entertainment, Tyler, 61, is now undergoing a 90-day "residential day treatment program".

Tyler has been spotted in the Palm Desert area in recent weeks, leading to speculation he has been staying at the Betty Ford Clinic, and on January 23 he showed up at a Home Depot hardware market and sang two Aerosmith songs over the store's tannoy system.

"He has privileges to leave the grounds... He was shopping," Contactmusic quoted a source as telling People magazine.

The rocker also showed up at a Palm Desert karaoke bar and belted out Aerosmith ballad 'I Don't Want To Miss A Thing'.

"(Tyler is) a performer 24/7, whether he's on stage, at the Home Depot or singing karaoke," Eric Sherman, the president of Tenth Street Entertainment, said.

"We are all really proud of Steven's continuing successful therapy and look forward to the day he returns to the stage and recording studio with Aerosmith to make new music for the fans," he added. (ANI)
