London, January 25 (ANI): Pop band Black Eyed Peas were dismayed at the NRJ Awards in Cannes, France, after being first declared Best International Group winners, only to be later corrected that they had not won it.

Pop star Kesha along with French choreographer Kamel Ouali had made the initial announcement, hearing which the band began to celebrate.

However, Ouali returned to say that an error had occurred and the award went to German rockers Tokio Hotel.

The announcement drew boos from the huge crowd, reports the Daily Express.

Nonetheless, Black Eyed Peas' track 'I Gotta Feeling' won the Best International Song award. (ANI)
