Varun Sandesh comes up with a new film but unlike his earlier films, he plays a responsible and caring teenager who makes his parents proud.

Story:

Varun (Varun Sandesh) is the son of middle class parents. His father Tanikella Bharani is a typical middle class person who is all the time worried about the casual approach towards life by his son. Varun like all teenagers of his age whiles away all the time chasing girls and partying with friends.

Varun has a passion for bikes and his father finally gives him 70,000 he had saved for his daughter’s marriage. Varun immediately goes out and buys a bike. While his parents ar aghast at his act, Varun has a deeper motive for this.

Varun knows that he cannot land a job without a bike and he also wants to impress his girlfriend Hema (Neha Sharma) with his brand new bike. Varun lands a job as a recovery agent in a bank and also manages to impress Hema whom he has been following at the bus stop for nearly two years.

Just when things appear to be going smoothly for Varun, his bike is stolen. Varun is shocked and he starts a frantic search for the bike. He crosses the path of a powerful gangster Sathya. Varun is now the target of Sathya’s younger brother who wants to take revenge as he has been badly beaten up by Varun in public.

Sathya is found murdered and it is the work of none other than Sathya’s younger brother. But Sathya’s aide Bullet suspects that the murder was committed by Varun and he sets out to finish Varun and his family.

The rest of the story is how Varun manages to save himself and hi family from the hands of the revenge seeking goons.

Performance:

Varun Sandesh who has acquired a lover boy role goes in for a slight image makeover in the film. This time he plays a loving and doting son who knows his responsibility towards his family. Varun does a neat job and also gets to do some big fights.

Neha Sharma brought in curiosity value a she had debuted opposite Ram Charan in Chirutha. There is not much for her to do in the film. Neha is used only to fill the glamour slot.

Tanikella Bharani comes up with a really impressive performance as a middle class family man who is concerned about his son’s future. He breathes life into the role. Ali as Jump Jilani and MS as a drundkard manage to raise some laughs. Chitrma Seenu also manages to raise a few laughs with his dialogue ‘Adagara…Adagara…Nuvvaina Adagara…’.

Analysis:

The film Kurradu begins like the story of a typical wayward teenager’s life. The film however moves on to love and later to family values, responsibility and sentiment. Director Sandeep Gunnam in an effort to appeal to a wide section of the audiences adds all the routine mass elements but ends up churning an average entertainer.
