The film Ninnu Kalisaka is directed by Sivanageswara Rao and produced by Ramoji Rao. The Usha Kiron movies banner has raised the expectations of the audience on the film. Let us see how far the film has managed to reach the expectations of the audience.

Story:

The story is about two pairs of lovers. Abhiram and Deepthi are in deep love. Abhiram goes to the US for three months on office work. Chandu and Bidnu are the other lover couple. Bindu also goes to the US for three months on a company assignment.

The lovers feel the pain of living without seeing one another for three months and start counting days. By a strange coincidence, Abhiram is headed for the same place as Bindu and they also happen to work for the same company in the US. They become friends and their friendship slowly turns into liking and now they are not sure if they are in love.

Back home Deepthi and Chandu meet each other and they become good friends. They become such good friends that they both reveal to each other about their love story and how they are waiting for their lovers to return.

In the US Abhiram and Bindu fall for each other but are confused as they are already in love. They do not reveal to one another about their love story. They both head back home after three months but are not sure what to do next.

Abhi asks Jagapathi Babu to help him out of this tricky situation. Jagapathi advises Abhi to use his heart and not his head in taking a final decision. He writes his own advice on a paper and asks Abhi to read it only after he has taken a decision. The rest of the story is what decision Abhi and Bindu take and whether it is the same as the advice given by Jagapathi Babu.

Performance:

All the four lead actors, Santosh, Chaitanya, Priya and Deepa are newcomers. They come up with a okay performance as per the demands of the script. Jagapathi Babu plays a guest role and he makes an impact in his own style. Krishnudu plays the role of boss in the US and is okay. MS Narayana and Bharath try to do some comedy but it falls flat. Siva Nageswara Rao appears in a cameo as Prem Baba.

Ninnu Kalisaka is a simple love story with a small twist in the end. The film moves at a very slow pace and the screenplay is also just average. There is no big comedy and the songs are also average. The production values are okay.

Ninnu Kalisaka does not boast of a big star cast and the story is also very simple. The film targets the college students but even they may not find it that appealing. The film is below average and can be safely given a miss.
