New Delhi, Dec 5 (IANS) After mending many a heart in the country through radio, popular mystery host and late night agony uncle 'Love Guru' is now set to play pacifier on the big screen with his Bollywood debut in 'Dil Kabaddi'.

'Dil Kabaddi', starring Irrfan Khan, Soha Ali Khan, Rahul Bose, Konkona Sensharma, Payal Rohatgi and newcomer Saba Azad, is releasing Friday.

The film is a marital comedy about two couples caught in post-marital boredom and how they deal with a temptation lurking out of the relationship.

Radio City 91.1 FM's Love Guru will bridge differences between these couples just as he does for his real-life listeners by lending his voice for the film. He plays a narrator whenever the character seeks his help.

Commenting on his newfound role, RJ Love Guru, a doctor by profession, said: 'In 'Dil Kabaddi', I am the confidante who is privy to the secrets of everyone's lives, secrets which they confide in me. I needle them on their wayward ways to put their lives back on track.'

'It was a great experience voicing for the movie,' he added.

RJ Love Guru's narration in the film is thanks to an exclusive partnership between Radio City and the executive producer of the film Studio 18.

As part of this partnership, the radio station is also holding various contests capturing the theme of 'Dil Kabaddi' across Mumbai, Delhi, Lucknow, Jaipur, Ahmedabad and Pune.
